From digital nomad to Paraguay adviser

I am the founder and owner of Paraguay Tax Free, and also your personal main point of contact. After years as a digital nomad I found my home in Paraguay. I have lived and worked in Mexico, Colombia, Taiwan, Thailand, Peru and many other countries, and in the end only Paraguay convinced me, in every respect.

My background is a Bachelor in International Business and a Master in Global Studies. Alongside this I run the Topblog Agency and have worked location-independently for years, so I know the reality of remote work, international invoicing and the question “does my setup actually hold up for tax?” first-hand. The business behind this site is operated through a US company, a Wyoming LLC.

That is exactly why I advise others today: I have been through the Migraciones queue, the RUC registration and the Cédula application myself. What I pass on is lived practice, not theory from a PDF.

My goal is to make Paraguay accessible to more people and to bring the right kind of expats here: people who respect the country and its people and want to contribute to its positive development. For me, honest advice means saying clearly when Paraguay is a fit, and when it is not. A note on tax: 0% on foreign income is the principle, but it depends on genuine tax residency and the right structure, and US citizens and green-card holders remain taxed on their worldwide income wherever they live.
