Referral bonus: $100 for every Premium client you send us
Most of our clients come to us through someone they trust. When you point a friend, a colleague or a reader our way and it turns into an order, we share some of it with you. The full terms are below.
The terms
What the bonus is for
You receive $100 when someone you referred books and pays for our Premium package. The Light and Standard packages, individual add-on services and recurring subscriptions do not trigger a bonus.
When it is paid
The claim arises once we have received the final payment, not the deposit. If the order is cancelled before then, or our money-back guarantee applies, no claim arises. Bonuses are paid monthly by bank transfer or Wise.
How we know the referral came from you
The simplest way: the person you referred mentions your name when we ask how they found us. You can also register them with us in advance. Where two accounts contradict each other, the referred person’s statement decides.
Several people from one household
If several people from the same household book, we pay at most $200 for that referral. One referral stays one referral, even when a whole family follows it.
When there is no bonus
For your own bookings, for people in your own household, and for anyone who was already in touch with us before your referral. We can check the last point against our inbox.
No right to take part
We decide on admission to the program case by case. We may change these terms for future referrals or end the program; claims that have already arisen are not affected.
Three things to know before you recommend us
Say that you get something. If you recommend us for money, the people you recommend us to have to know, and that includes a private message or a group chat. One sentence is enough: “I get a bonus if you book through me.” Posts on websites, social media and video platforms need a clear, conspicuous disclosure where people will see it, not buried in a hashtag block. In the United States that is the standard of the FTC’s Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255); the UK and the EU apply comparable advertising rules.
Professionals check their own rules first. If you are a lawyer, accountant or tax adviser, the rules of your profession may restrict referral fees or require you to tell your clients about them. In Germany, for example, tax advisers and lawyers may not accept them at all. Take part only if your rules allow it; we may ask you to confirm that before paying.
The bonus can be taxable income. We pay the full amount without withholding anything, and whether and how it is taxed depends on the country you live in. Reporting it is up to you. This is a pointer, not tax advice; if in doubt, ask a tax adviser where you live.
How to tell us about a referral
A short email to info@paraguay-taxfree.com with the name of the person you recommended is enough. For the payout we will later need your name, your address and your bank or Wise details. How we handle that data is set out in our privacy policy. Our payment and process terms apply otherwise, and every commercial relationship we have is disclosed in our editorial standards.
